Pellezara station

The parents of Tarrin Datch were the proprietors of the space outpost Pellezara station in the Duro system during the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin. Their children included at least three boys, including Tarrin Datch, born in 18 BBY, and one girl.

[edit] History

As the owners of Pellezara station, the Datch's oversaw the servicing of large freighters en route to the planet Duro. To entertain the pilots of these freighters while they waited, the Datch's, with assistance from their children, would perform flight shows with assorted souped up cargo haulers. With this experience, their son Tarrin Datch became a gifted pilot by the age of twelve.

Datch's father once grounded his son for three weeks, literally, assigning him to work in traffic control and resupply, after attemping a miniature Koiogran turn in a bulk freighter that destroyed a dozen beacon pods in the process.

In 1 BBY, the younger Datch took control of a freighter holding stolen Imperial cargo bound for the Rebellion. With the Empire in hot pursuit of the stolen goods, the young Datch escaped with the Rebel freighter into hyperspace, soon joining the Rebellion for good as a starfighter pilot. Although he missed his family, he knew better than to involve them in the Galactic Civil War, for their safety.
